Customer Service

The corporation is committed to continue to work for constant improvement of the quality and reliability of the service for the resident, alongside preserving the connection with the community.

The constant improvement in the quality of service to the residents is expressed among other things in the assimilation of innovative technological services and preserving the current waiting and response periods in the call center, the service centers and the online customer communication channels. In parallel we will continue to preserve our connection with the community via a series of focused activities in direct and indirect interfaces with the residents.

Finance

The Finance Department is responsible for managing the corporation’s funds correctly and efficiently, as well as controlling and supervising the service and collection array run by a specialized company.

Among the department’s main roles: ensuring the availability of funds required for the corporation’s operations, financial planning for the corporation and monitoring its implementation, coordinating finances with local authorities and relevant government ministries, maintaining the corporation’s acquisition activities.

Engineering

The corporation’s Engineering Department is responsible for the regular operation and maintenance of existing infrastructures, as well as for upgrading and developing new infrastructures, using the best information and accessories available. The department is also responsible for the implementation of the corporation’s policies regarding water supply and the quality of infrastructures in Be’er Sheva and Ofakim. The department includes an operations unit that operates 24/7.

The department’s main roles are: maintenance and operation of the water and sewage systems at Be’er Sheva and Ofakim, improving, developing and upgrading water and sewage infrastructures, handling water reduction and water consumption, providing services such as permits, building plans, Form 4, fees and levies.

Operations

Responsible for maintaining the city water network and providing responses to water problems, while meeting standards and schedule.

The Operations Department operates on two levels:

Breakdown maintenance - providing responses to calls regarding problems in the city water and sewage networks. Providing responses 24/7, while meets SLA terms and providing immediate solutions for any interruption in the water supply to residents’ home.

Preventive maintenance - the corporation prepares and executes annual plans for preventive treatments of the city’s water and sewage networks. These treatments include washing and cleaning transmission lines and sewage pits, replacing city water lines when identifying an increase in breakage on these lines, upgrading asbestos lines to PEX or steel lines, photographing potentially problematic sewage lines, pest control in city pits in accordance with an annual work plan, characterization and improvement of system data, completing missing pits, replacing faulty valves and organizing metering systems.

Management

Management is responsible for the general and economic management of the corporation in accordance with the policies established by the board of directors, the corporation’s procedures and the laws and regulations that apply to the corporation and its operations. Among the management’s main roles: creating strategic plans, recruitment of human and material resources , operation and utilizing such resources efficiently and economically, setting goals for the corporation’s operations, managing human resource and investing in the development of human resources.
